BOSTON - The Boston Celtics announced today that they have signed free agent center Patrick O'Bryant. Per team policy,
terms of the deal were not disclosed. O'Bryant, a 7'0", 249lbs center,
has appeared in 40 career games for the Golden State Warriors posting averages of 1.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.
The former Bradley Brave played in eight games for the Bakersfield Jam of the Development League last season with
averages of 16.9 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game.
The ninth overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft netted a career-high 10 points against the Los Angeles Clippers on November 16, 2007.
